OCSD 4 Educators honored with Life Changer of the Year Awards
Each year National Life Group recognizes educators who inspire and go above and beyond for their students. To qualify the individuals must be a k-12 educator, teacher, administrator, or any member of the school’s staff who makes a positive difference in the lives of students. Individuals can be nominated by parents, administrators, and even students. Those nominations are then submitted to the LifeChanger of the Year selection committee, comprised of past LifeChanger of the Year winners and higher education professionals. Orangeburg Consolidated School District Four is fortunate to have two educators recognized for their contributions to the lives of students and are recognized as LifeChangers. Mr. Eric King, Teaching Assistant at EES, was recognized as a LifeChanger of the Year for 2018-2019 and Dr. Ophelia Darby, Teacher at EHS, was also recognized as a LifeChanger and given an award. Each educator received a cash prize for themselves and for their particular school. Congratulations!
