Orangeburg Consolidated School District Four Announces Make-up Days
As you know, Governor McMaster issued an order for all schools in Orangeburg County to close from Tuesday, September 11, through Friday, September 14 due to Hurricane Florence. Orangeburg Consolidated School District Four has announced the days that will be used to make-up days missed due to this order. OCSD 4 will now have school on:
October 23, 2018 – (This will now be an early release day for students and Parent-Teacher Conferences will occur after dismissal from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
December 21, 2018 – (This will now be a half day for faculty, staff and students)
January 7, 2018 – (This will now be a regular school day and the first day back from Christmas Break for Faculty, staff, and students.)
State law requires all districts to make up a minimum of three days missed due to extreme weather. Once a final decision is made regarding the fourth missed day of school, we will be sure to communicate that with everyone.
