Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School Teacher named top five (5) in Rack Room Shoes Real Teacher of the Year Award
Aline Newton, English teacher at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School, was nominated for the Rack Room Shoes Teacher of the Year Award. Teachers from around the nation were nominated with hopes of being named one of the top five (5) teachers as voted on by students, colleagues, and parents. Ms. Newton was named one of the top five (5) teachers and with that was named a Rack Room Shoes Real Teacher of the Year. The award comes with a $10000 technology grant for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School and a year’s supply of free Rack Room Shoes for Ms. Newton. Congratulations to Ms. Newton and thank you to all that supported her.
